#TruthAboutWhoYouAre

This is Day 28 of 48 of the #TruthAboutWhoYouAre series. Thank you so much for joining in on this journey with me. I hope you are inspired over this 7 week series.

I am so happy to introduce today's writer. Connie Lelacheur & her husband were my first youth pastors I had growing up. Here is a little bit about Connie: "I am happy to be a wife to Scott, mom to Madison, son in law Matt, Macie and Austin.  My husband and I have been in the ministry for over 30 years and currently are the Lead Pastors of Summit Christian Church in the foothills of Los Angeles."

I am a partaker of His divine nature - 2 Peter 1:3-4

I love God's promises and I love that for every situation, circumstance and need he provides us with a promise.  He has given us everything we need to live this life 2 Peter 1:3  tells us and in the next verse (vs 4) that we are also  partakers of His divine nature.   Just as everything is divinely held within a tiny seed that is needed for it to bloom and flourish as the creator intended, we have everything we need to divinely bloom and flourish as the creator has intended, even when facing harsh circumstances.   Several years ago I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that had the potential to keep me in bed for months. With a husband and young children to care for along with the responsibility I felt of helping my husband Pastor a church, I found myself discouraged, frustrated and unwilling to accept that prognosis.  After a short time I decided enough was enough and got up to resume my responsibilities.  I found that self-will can get you a measure of healing but it was not until I came across the verse in Romans  8:11 that I fully partook in God's divine healing nature.  The verse says “And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit that lives in you.”  That scripture resounded so loudly within me that I instantly felt stronger and knew that God had healed me.  I was tested and they found the disease was no longer in my system.  Praise God!!  Gods divine healing nature bloomed in me and has forever changed my perspective of sickness and disease from fear to faith.
